A nationally acclaimed summer camp STEM program is coming to Hillsboro this July.
Camp Invention, a summer camp that brings programs centering on science, technology, engineering and math, is bringing a program to Brookwood Elementary School from July 11 through July 15.
The programs that Camp Invention will offer focus on creativity, innovation, invention and real-world problem-solving, according to a press release from the National Inventors Hall of Fame.

• Robotic Aquatics: Children adopt their own aquatic animals as they learn about ocean research.
• NIHF's The Attic: Campers combine science and art to create their own robotic artist. They will also make spin art and low how inventions can change the way people create.
• Spacecation: Children discover real space exploration technology by creating Spacepacks and Astro-Arm devices while they mine asteroids and observe erupting ice volcanoes.
• Marble Arcade: Campers experiment with physics, engineering and gaming as they design, build and test their own mega marble arcades.
